Are you curious about your baby? Maybe you want to know who he or she looks like? When you want to get a real picture of your baby, choose a 3D/4D ultrasound and get to know your child in advance!

A special introduction to your baby

If you opt for a 3D/4D ultrasound, you will see live what is happening inside your belly. The images we make are in sepia and with depth. This will give you a good picture of your unborn baby. We will try to see the little face. We are doing our best to get this right. If you are lucky, your baby will actually pose and you will see his or her whole face.

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D ultrasound?

You get the best images when you are between 22 and 30 weeks pregnant especially around the 28th week. There is then enough subcutaneous fat present so that you can see the cheeks well. Are you pregnant with a multiple birth? Then it is best to schedule the ultrasound around the 15th week. This ultrasound is mostly about the experience. And would you like to share this special event with any other children or family members? No problem. Feel free to bring some people with you. The ultrasound takes about half an hour, and we do our best to get the best possible view of your baby. Has your child descended yet? Then it becomes a lot less easy to do a good 3D/4D ultrasound. We do advise you to come with a full bladder. This is because your bladder pushes your baby’s head up slightly. This results in an even more beautiful image. Although our ultrasound technicians make every effort to provide a good pretecho, you should be aware that sometimes this ultrasound does not work well. For example, because your baby is just not right for it.

What does a 3D/4D ultrasound cost?

Would you like to meet your unborn child in advance? Then a 3D/4D ultrasound is for you. You will not be reimbursed for the costs of this ultrasound because there is no medical indication. The costs are € 60,-. This ultrasound scan takes about 15 minutes, where we will mainly focus on capturing the face. Afterwards, you will receive two printed black and white photos and more pictures by email.
